Why do my children choose times such as this to outgrow all of their shoes???? Don’t they know we’re trying to save money here??????? And of course, at least three of them need new ones because we don’t have any in the size they need. I’m hoping I’ll find some in our stash of hand-me-downs for the other two…. (Yes, Eli is getting new shoes. No high heels or pink sneakers for the boy.)

I found a cheap size 7 pair for him today, but it just fits him right now. I figure before sneaker season is past I’m going to need a size 8. If you have any of them, they’d be most welcome!
I found some cheap shoes for the other two, too. They ended up with a half size bigger than I would have gotten had I had unlimited funds, but they can walk and run in them so they’ll survive. And Eli had a dentist appointment today where the dentist cut his fee in half for us, which meant we could cover the shoes! Isn’t God cool?! 🙂
